As exciting and dynamic as the rock world is these days, there’s something particularly charming about old-time rock n’ roll that you don’t find within today’s scene. Thankfully, we have bands like Bluphoriawho are keeping that classic spirit alive with songs like their brand new single “Ain’t Got Me.”
You can hear that vintage element within the song structure and melodies that harken back to when rock music was more closely intertwined with blues and R&B music. It’s a nice little transition back to what Bluphoria does best, away from their holiday-themed single, “When The Snow Falls,” which they closed off 2022 with. Now it’s back to business with the blues and psychedelic rock which they are becoming known for.
